Insulting Botswana

The 9 September issue of Science arrived in the mail yesterday (24 September).  This is probably the level of service expected in Botswana, but that’s probably insulting Botswana.  Apparently Science is mailed from Minnesota and I live in Massachusetts.   I’ve been subscribing for 40+ years and this is the worst its ever been.  I’ve complained  but to no avail.  In contrast, Nature arrives 1 -3 days after the issue date, ditto for PNAS.

Are other people out there having similar problems with mail delivery of Science, or does everyone read it on the web these days? Post a comment and let me know.
